Welcome to Hokitika Christian Fellowship.
"Hoki", as we affectionately call it, is nestled between the majestic Southern Alps of New Zealand and the often wild Tasman Sea.
Our main divide catches the Westerly air flow over New Zealand in some places precipitating over 5.5 metres of rain in a year. Our climate and our geography are typified by often dramatic variation.
Coasters are a resilient breed drawn to The Coast by its treasures of Pounamu, Gold, and the raw beauty of awe inspiring landscapes.
God also brings forth His treasures from the weathered and sometimes rugged landscape of His people's lives.
Consciously or not people are drawn to this place to discover the Artist who created this beauty.
Jesus has called us here for the challenge of seeking true and lasting riches - not gold - but God!
Our passion and vision for the Coast is that people would be willing to forsake all and seek the One who seeks them - a GOD RUSH!!
